UW Offers Wattenberg's Teammate, Nick Harris (2016 OL)

Thanks for the consolation gift Pete.

That's like the restaurant being out of filet mignon so instead you go home and eat a dog turd off the front lawn.

At this point, i'm hoping it's a Twattenberg insurance policy. Worth a schollie if that's the case.

I think this is a case of, "The OL that are available just aren't that good anymore (Alves is going to UO), so let's get this kid on board to ensure we get a body and we can swing away at Eletise until signing day."

It surprises me that they would take this guy, of all people, if that is the case. According to his scout profile, the guy is 6'1''. Up until now, Petersen has favored tall linemen, and this kid is literally on no ones radar (except New Hampshire). I'm pretty sure Scout had to make a profile for him after he visited UW because people were asking who that guy was. Certainly there are local guys who are better prospects than this kid. It's almost like Petersen went into a rage after losing Elitise and when Strausser asked "who should we offer next?", he looked up from his turned over desk and yelled, "Who fucking cares? Offer that kid who visited with Wattenberg last week. I don't give a fuck"

You need to make your scenario into that Hitler video, would be hilarious.

I never really trusted tuff guy Cozz, especially after 2010 when he was more exposed by not having a great athlete like Locker running away from whiffed blocks and missed blitz pick-ups.

OTOH, I have a lot of faith in Strausser based off his exceptional work at BSU so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on this kid.

I still think that the staff could take 3 OL if a big-time guy wants to say yes (Eletise decides to take an OV to UW or Alves puts UW above UCLA and Oregon).

He has a better offer sheet than Sifa Tafunga

Maybe someday this will turn out like the Aaron Rodgers story where Tedford discovered Rodgers while recruiting his TE.....

naw who am I kidding we are desperate.

His only other offers are Cal Poly and New Hampshire.

And now UW.

This is what happens when you only offer 11 OL and strike out on 10 of them.

Well he's good enough for Chip Kelly and Bill Walsh. They know what the fuck their talking about so I'm fine with it.

Anybody have a gif of Nick Wood getting launched by Steven Paeaeaea?

Wow maybe Jack Lockner was better than I remember.

Nick Wood getting manhandled is epic but does any UW player do anything well in this clip other than Jack?

Jack smoothly evades all 4 down linemen that collapsed the pocket as if there were no OL on the field and then completes an 11-yard pass in the face of an oncoming LB that could have gone for a first down if Jordan Polk doesn't fall over out of shock that he caught the ball.
