UW is better on paper than previously thought...

The return of Smith, Tanigawa and Jamora is the game changer....

All guys bolstered a position that was a weak spot last year. WRs were horrendous last year. Ross is legit and Mickens caught everything. Smith is solid.

Its just one game and Boise isnt that great but with many pundits saying its an 8-9 win team, perhaps its a 9-10 win team on paper. I feel like we have more talent than people think.

I've been saying it the last few weeks....Oregon and ASU are the two toughest games for us. The rest are definitely winnable.

Our D-line got pushed around a bit, so stanford feels like the toughest game for us. We won't win the north, but this team should definitely win 9 games

Both lines are going to have the most trouble with Stanford. I agree, Stanford feels like the toughest game on the schedule right now.

Stanford had a lot of close games last year....I think missing their TE's is going to really affect their offense. And I think knowing that we beat them the year before will allow us to at least play a close game at the worst.

We can put a bunch in the box vs Stanford though and dare them to throw. Lack of pass rush was concerning though.

I want to see this team perform well on the road before I start purchasing Rose Bowl tickets.

They are 11-2 at home the last two years. This team is a good home team. I want to see this team perform on the road that is when you can tell if UW has "turned the corner".

Having said all that I always believed this team has had 9-10 win talent. Now can Sark finally just simply not fuck it up? Well today he did a great job of not fucking it up which I hope he does every week.

I cannot wait to see the Oregon game. An established speed team against our basketball on grass tempo. At least the game will have fireworks. Now, Oregon has proven they can win this way for about 5 solid years, and we did it one game.

Should still make for a fun game.

I am not looking forward to the annual Oregon plunger

Don't get me wrong, I am still expecting the plunger, but hopeful that it doesn't go in arm included.
