What nobody seems to be mentioning is that, while the DB's will the weak spot of the defense, a good pass rush can make a bad secondary look average. And UW will have a very good pass rush.

We had a good pass rush last year and we saw our DBs give up long TDs against everyone

Part of it is scheme and leaving CBs on an island with no safety help. We need CBs that can keep up with a WR running a go, post, or corner

Sure Texas dropped a couple touchdowns. Deep passes are not a high percentage. I think UW was probably above average on deep balls

It was last year too. They didnt have to rival Owen twelve secondary. But they did even with a good pass rush.

Yes and bad scheme even left Alex Cook on an island @ ASU. I told my girlfriend [/s] girlfriend experience before the snap that he would get roasted if it was a pass play and sure enough he did. She thought that was clairvoyant and decided to keep me company one more day.
