He is also an offensive coach, so he is probably more focused on going against the defensive schemes. Especially since he was only OC at USU before 2013.

He's also an offensive coach so he knows a shit scheme when he sees one and is embarrassed to give any type of compliment to such offense.

This is a classic confirmation bias. You want it to be telling so it is telling. Things like this are said every year by coaches. Sometimes there telling, sometimes there not. Either way, it will be interesting!

He is an offensive coach, but if anything on offense was worth a shit, he would comment on it.
