. This is definitely going to become a majorly big deal and Cougars everywhere couldn’t be happier. The shift of power just locked itself into hyper-drive as Mike Leach and the Cougs continue to do all the right things.

Low how the Cougs "continue to do the right things" and the "Shift of power" is going towards them.

Too Coogish to realize USC would get it worse than UW.

Think about the North right now. Cal is glued on the bottom of the stack at the moment, Stanford has the academic hurdles (though clearly that’s slowing them down as much as you or I could slow a rumbling train by standing in front of it). Oregon is fighting leadership and other battles, Oregon State has never been a powerhouse in recruiting and Washington, who was just starting to take over the recruiting game… well, that happened with some added benefits apparently.

At any rate, Washington State’s rise is apparent and if I’m a recruit on the fence right now between UW and WSU, I’m staying away from the city and all those issues that are about to arise to focus on my ball in Pullman. Probably look for this next year or year and a half to really be “advantage WSU” in the recruiting game right now. Would be nice to take advantage and even a couple recruits that wouldn’t have previously considered the Cougars could accelerate the program even more than it was previously going to be.

I do remember him in 2010 saying the difference is "I like my coach while your coach sucks".

I love how he acts like this will give WSU a big recruiting edge on UW. I doubt even this year they finish ahead of UW and starting next year UW will be having ranked classes while WSU returns to irrelevancy.

Ah 2010. I remember Harv swearing that the Cougs winning that Apple Cup to keep UW from the bowel AND Sankey sticking with his Crimson commitment were both foretold in the Script.

I honestly don't get the Cougs logic though, I mean they couldn't pass UW when UW was led by a fucktarded Frat Boy yet they are going to pass UW now with Petersen who is actually a good coach?

Yeah if this toolbag has even the slightest urge to spew that their personnel will ever be better than ours then he wasn't at the apple cup. I was. And the OSU game in Corvallis. Both OSU and WSU are tiny, tiny teams that play out of their mind out of shear hatred toward their rival. Oh yeah btw that apple cup should have been 27-10, that last td drive they had was the biggest string of bullshit calls on our secondary. The look on the coog fans faces said it all to me: 'their D shut us the fuck down.' This is all moot of course cuz I'm not on a coog bored, but seriously, love your team for what it is and stop spending every waking moment writing bullshit like this, when every 17 year old will look at seattle and then pullman, then look at his offer sheet from uw/uo/stan/whoever else and say 'no thank you cousin-fuckers.'
