UNC hires Mack Brown

Usually can't go home again. Off the top of my head, mixed results for John Robinson and Bill Snyder, disaster for Mark Whipple. I imagine Mack will get them off the mat, make a decent bowl and then he will realize that he's really old and will mail it in and start cashing checks. He has no idea the mess Butch Davis and Larry Fidora left. #basketballschool

The ACC is shitty enough that he could have some 8 win seasons. That’s as good as it will get.

Mike Reilly had a decent second turn in Cornvalley.

Interesting that he could win 10 games three times and never win the ACC, not really an ACC historian but I assume that was the glory days for FSU

He took Tulane to a bowl against the DAWGS, the legendary Weedeater Bowl

Texas has yet to get to where he took them

He's a solid coach and still a youngster IMO

Yeah the ACC was very bad outside of Florida State in those years. They joined the conference in '92 and won their first 29 conference games and titles in each of the first 9 years.

Also I think you mean to say Texas has never gotten back out if the crater he left them in.

The game passed him by many years ago. Hiring has beens Greg Robinson and Tim Brewster further proves that.
