Brandon (Ale) Kaho[/b] (6’1 218 SAM) https://hudl.com/video/3/1815131/59d185cd32ddbb0ab05ed9b3 (Midseason)
Coker[/b]: Kaho is a perfect fit in our defense. I think he will play outside for us at SAM (field side) and that will allow him to roam and flow to the ball and play in space. He already has great ability in using his hands on lineman to disengage and has a real good feel for the angles he takes on defense. For me, you can really see his ability on offense though. When he gets up to speed he is flying and he is a natural laterally quick guy. He will be a terrific defender in our scheme. DDY3[/b]
Dennis[/b]: Elite, elite forward movement. The guy can accelerate like a cheetah and he has a natural big frame. I assume he will end up around 235 and be able to move as well. You’d like to see his film have a little more lateral movement, but when he’s moving toward something he looks like a heat-seeking missile. The most talented LB we’ve signed under Pete. DDY3[/b]
Jackson Sirmon[/b] (6’2” 224lb LB) https://hudl.com/video/3/7494305/5a263172664b010e507a1c28
Coker[/b]: Seems like the first time in a long time we have recruited a true MLB, and that is what I think Sirmon projects as in our defense. Super light on his feet for being 6’2” 224lbs and when he hits you players go down. Already takes great angles to the ball carrier and has a feel for his drops in pass. Think BBK but 3 inches taller and coming in 25 pounds heavier. Lastly, in his commit video posted by Washington, stated that “My dad grew up a Washington fan,” so bonus points there for the subtle troll. DDY2[/b]
Dennis[/b]: Sirmon reminds me of Mason Foster. If you go back and watch MF’s high school film, they both make plays in space, do a great job cutting down angles and they both thump when they tackle. Both light on their feet in HS and both guys who I thought would be big, inside LBs for us. DDY2[/b]
MJ Tafisi[/b] (5’11.5” 224 LB) https://hudl.com/video/3/4257357/5a17d6080c53d82738508e31
Coker[/b]: Best player comp I can think of off the top of my head is ‘The Waterboy.’ Tafisi by himself does not make as much sense with UW as Tafisi with the LB core UW is bringing in this class. The guys he is surrounded by will make him very valuable for UW and he will be a terrific fit at WIL. He is an absolute missile on the field and at 224lbs he is not the 200lb linebackers we had a bad habit of bringing in over years past. DDY2[/b]
Dennis[/b]: Reminds me of Ram-Man from he-man. Just short with long arms and built like a brick shithouse. He closes really fast and when he hits people, they can’t hold on to the ball. He plays ‘heavy’ and intense. I really like this kid a lot. It’s a trade up from Nick Bolton IMO, particularly because of his acceleration and closing speed. He has that tractor beam to get you down before you can make the move. If he were 4 inches taller, would’ve been one of the top recruits in the west, but he’s on the small side. DDY2[/b]
Kyler Gordon[/b] (5’11.25 185 DB) https://hudl.com/video/3/4580494/59a9782964e9b70a00c9c15b (Single game, Sr. Season)
Coker[/b]: You could line him up at FS, CB, or Slot and he’d do well everywhere. It’s like Jimmy Lake created him in his secret DB lab from the DNA of all of our past great DB’s. He is so smooth and natural in all of his movements, he can control himself in spots that others would just crumble. I can’t wait to see what we do with him on defense. DDY3[/b]
Dennis[/b]: Jesus fucking Christ this kid is a missile. He was born to play S/Slot in our D. He’s a dancer and moves like a cat, but hits like a dog. He’s light on his feet, but once he gets to the target he does a nice job getting all the power out of his frame. However, what sets him apart is that free-space movement and ability to predict and mimic opponents’ movements. As good a fit in our D as I’ve seen. DDY3[/b]
Dominique Hampton[/b] (6’2 197 CB) https://hudl.com/video/3/6099606/59d095cada52a30e4cbbb370
Coker[/b]: You could make a case that this is the most rare corner UW has ever brought into the program. He glides on the field and he is already almost 200 pounds, has long arms and is extremely physical in coverage. The thing that surprised me about his game is his speed as well, he eats up yards with his stride and accelerates by people with ease. Elite ceiling player that adds to one of the best units in the Country. WSU will complain about him being too good when they can’t do anything against us for the 305th year in a row. DDY3[/b]
Dennis[/b]: When you see a kid with this size, the first concern is that he’s slow or can’t move laterally. Dominique is the complete opposite - he is bouncy and fast. He can jump, he can play physically and he has a sudden rush toward the ball that is impressive. He looks like Patrick Peterson to some extent. Just huge, long strides with quickness and willing physicality. DDY3[/b]
