So I follow all the PAC12 beat writers to keep track of news and stuff from all the teams (mostly injuries, because I root for injuries). Anyways, during fall camp Graham was HYPING his team left and right. It was reach around central by him.

He said that this is the best team he has ever head, basically every other practice he was saying that was the best practice he has had since his time at ASU. Then they come out and play like shit. I hate that little fucker, that is really all this is about because I want to make fun of another team. Thanks.
 
He says that every year. I mean that 100% literally. Every single year.

ESPN talking heads picked up on it and used it as a justification for picking them as a NATTY contender is what I found to be pretty funny.

If you go back to preseason hype stuff, you will find him quoted (link?) saying "this is the best team I've ever had" in 2013 and 2014. It's how he manages his team which is beyond odd. Most coaches preach 1-0, or de-hype their team. Not TG.

ASU is trash this year. 5th best in the loaded south. They'll blitz Cobra like crazy, but they can be beaten.

To be honest, Arizona State was only 85 plays away from winning that game.

So how are they a bad team?
 
Jaelen Strong and Taylor Kelly elevated an above average team to a pretty good team the past few years. Their defense has regressed since 2012. Its up and down game to game but overall pretty average.

They arent a good team this year and will really mail it in when they are 4-5 heading into the UW game. UW will win that game.
