The jury is still out as to whether DeBoer's tenure at UW will best that of Pete's.

But one thing's for sure, a Peterman team (with comparable talent) would have never won that game on Sat.

2018 followed 70-21 and 38-3

UW was in position to take control back and shit the bed.

Henry missed the field goal but Petersen lost the game

He followed up the 2018 masterpiece with the one in 2019, another winnable game. That was the last complete Huskies game I watched. My doog was shot multiple times and its corpse set ablaze.

I'm not a fan of these oversimplified takes on coaches or players. Good coaches have kickers miss kicks sometimes

Pete had a lot of kickers miss big kicks, esp at Boise

Deboer needed Henry to be perfect to beat Oregon

2018 sucked, but 2019 was inexcusable

Great coaches go for touchdowns

After watching that roll out from 1st and goal I’m glad they fucking kicked it

After watching them fail 8 times at first and goal from the 1 against MSU, I'm very suspect of their short yardage game

I was not surprised we couldn't convert on 3rd down on that final drive after the turnover on downs

Agreed.

However, my feeling is isn't so much about Pete vs OR and DeBoer vs Oregon, but rather that DoBoer managed to something Pete never did in 6 years at UW, which was pull off the major upset.

This game was a way bigger deal than Pete beating Sark in 2015.

Pete's pensive puckered hole makes his guys tight in crunch time.

Big dick Zebransky in 2006 was the exception, not the rule.

Pete built an entire career on a trick play...ha, ha.

But also Penix show's how much a Big Dick QB can affect a matchup.
