Couldn't have happened to a nicer group of people.
I travel to Austin for work and have family and friends down there. I told them about seven win Sark and during Texas' little run I got a lot, and I mean a lot, of shit for it. Bitter, jilted lover, shit like that.
I told them … just wait. Reminds me of Dennis Erickson. Good at some things, can come in an do some winning in the right environment. But the longer they're there, the more of their DNA is invested into the core of the program and it eventually it reflects what they are.

This is accurate. We also botched the chance to plunger both those teams by the defense giving up points late both year - up by 17 in San Antonio and 13 in New Orleans well into the fourth.
