Western-Central Vikings-Wildcats defeated ranked Azusa with a field goal leaving a second on the clock and advanced to ranking of #20. There then ensued an anticlimactic rugby style return a la the Cal-Stanford game in the early 80s. It went all the way but was ruled on a late flag as having a forward lateral. It leaves one with a silly feeling that no one should get so excited over D2, and especially with a faux recreation of The Play.
