Except blue states usually have large democratic majorities in the state legislatures. Kate Brown in Oregon under state law had emergency powers for 30 days, which then expired by law if not renewed by the state legislature. Dems legislators and the scared little minds that voted for them decided that blaming it all on Kate Brown was fine with them. Oregon Supreme Court decided that the plain statute didn't apply because it was an emergency. Dem governor, dem legislator and dem judges = tyranny, just the way they like it. Never give anyone a choice. Just need mandates.

But way too many did. They know who they are and the vast majority of them still think they did the right thing because they cared and some credentialed moron told them that the SCIENCE would keep them safe.

Yeah fuck them. They refused to hear the cases which allowed states to unconstitutionally change voting laws at the eleventh hour because Chinese flu.
