ATBS, how much different is this from all the consent decrees that the DOJ imposed on cities like Seattle? Feds telling locals how they are fucking up and how to fix the problems. Locals say they need more resources and that's the invite for the Feds to do the cleanup.

Exactly. We could pretend that consent decrees and all the bullshit since 2020 didn't leave these cities defenseless but what does that do for the people?
It's not a mystery how to stop crime. You prosecute it and you lock up the criminals
I'm all in favor of Chicago doing it but their government isn't

I was shocked at how little air play that got. I have liberal friends who live in CA that never even knew it happened. If someone did that to BO, not only would the left be burning buildings down, they would have thrown that person in prison. Everyone who votes Republican would have been labeled a racist.
Its just another example of the rampant racism of the left.
