As you probably know, the left-wing treasonous press has a long history of headlines of this kind. Fox Butterfield of the New York Times would routinely write this same headline, again and again, during the fall in crime during the nineties:
Crime Falls Despite Increases in Incarceration
It never occurred to Fox Butterfield, or his many layers of editors at the New York Times, that crime was falling precisely because of increases in the incarceration of criminals.
And the spirit of Fox Butterfield now lives on at Politico for Kidz, Axios.
Axios deleted the headline because conservatives Seized on it (and also, there was reportedly some pouncing), but people did get screencaps
