A Los Angeles nurse who was killed in an unprovoked attack at a bus stop was a dedicated caregiver preparing to retire after nearly four decades on the job, neighbors and hospital officials said.

Sandra Shells, a 70-year-old nurse at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, had served 38 years on the job, including throughout the pandemic, when she was struck by a homeless man on her way to work, KABC reported.

Police said Shells was at a Metro stop in downtown Los Angeles at 5 a.m. Thursday when she was struck in the face by a 48-year-old transient, identified as Kerry Bell.

She fell to the ground and fractured her skull, and died of her injuries Sunday, officials said.[/i][/b]

And the homeless issue will only get worse as leeches are sucking tax money to make 6 figure salaries claiming they are working to fix the problem. LA leadership is disgusting and white collar criminals. The homeless problem is big business, fixing it would turn off the money spout.

There's no reason to fix homelessness. Too much cash going to non-profits, government bureaucracies and the cartels drug trade.

Throw in big pharma feeding the opioid beast on the front side and it's a perfect vertically integrated system.
