Forgot all the nonsense, the real way for UW to make the Rose Bowl is for UW and USC to win out. It's that simple.

USC beats Oregon in the title game, giving Oregon a 3rd conference loss

UW has the tie breaker over Ute

I'm not positive that would mean Oregon is considered third

Who knows with the committee. But I'll be ready with my viking helmet and shaman furs to launch another January 6th if those fuckheads rank a three loss Oregon ahead of a two loss UW.

I think the combo of losing at home to UW, losing to USC, and getting annihilated by UGA in the opener - will make 10-2 UW more attractive than 10-3 Oregon

Will especially help if USC wins by 10+ in the CCG.

Teams usually are not punished too much for losing a ccg.

Yeah but I think Oregon would fall behind UW in the CFP rankings and we would get in if they lost

Same with Utah losing to USC, if they make it in

In the Big "10" East, or whatever SEC division is good, we're 7-4. I don't have high expectations about making, then winning the CG, and finishing 5th or something.

Might come down to how good of a show UW puts on this wknd. A 17-14 win might keep us? out of it if Oregon blows out Beav then loses tight to SC
