Maybe, but not sure Morris was bad either. He was serviceable and didn't make any major mistakes in his first start. Outside of the pretty bad long pass to Bynum and the passes batted down at the line of scrimmage, he didn't get much early help from his receivers. Then, we inexplicably decided to just run the ball straight into the middle of the defense for approximately 10 snaps in a row at the end. Would have been nice to let them give Morris more of a chance to seal the game. I'd say his grade is incomplete so far, but he didn't take any sacks and he moved when he needed to. He also gave receivers a chance to make plays, but they didn't.
The more scary thought is they weren't able to adjust the game plan to Morris's strengths...that's a coaching (John Don) issue.
