The game @ Cal is a HUGE test for Petamus (oh fuck)

I'm 81% certain that if Sark was still coaching, we would lose this game (given his road record and Cal's offensive proficiency this year).

If Peterton is who we think he is, UW should win this game rather easily. But the inexperienced secondary could prove disastrous.

If the offense has another GSU first half/Hawaii game type of performance, Cal is going to plunger the fightin' Doogs. I'm legitimately worried about this game, whether or not Cal wins @ WSU this week.

Someone convince me that our team full of players that have always sucked on the road will suddenly not suck on the road. They're going to be having flashbacks of Sark.

I'm 19% (100-81% for those without an abacus) certain the secondary does well at Cal. They're very young and inexperienced, but improving. I more concerned about Miles' happy feet syndrome spreading to others on the offensive side of the program, i.e., panic and indecision.

I'm optimistic with the growth we're seeing in the defense ...

The offense??? I have absolutely no clue what we're going to see.

Until we can get an actual read on what kind of consistent offense we're going to have, we've got problems that we hope that the defense and special teams can bail us out on.

Even if our D stops Cal... can our O score?

The best thing we have going for us at this point, is that we have 2 weeks to get read for the game.

After 5 games, we know. That's over 1/3 of the season. We have an actual read.

Cal gave up 36 points in the 4th quarter to an offense that lost everything from last year (Carey), and then nearly got embarrassed at home to Colorado, who is still fucking Colorado.

If UW's offense can't score against Cal's "defense" then Peterman, his staff, and the team should have to walk back from Berkley.
