I liked Horn and wanted to see him get a shot at FGs buttfuck am I tired of wasting so many schollies on STers.
 
Who needs a kicker when you have the best punter in the nation and an offense that can’t get into field goal range anyways.
 
Lefty was doing the kickoff in the last game, and maybe against Cal too though I don't remember. From what I saw against Beav he was better at it than Horn.

My only disappointment stems from my dashed hope that Horn would play his way into the LB depth.
 
So was the RS announcement an attempt by the coaches to get out front of a couch sale they suspected was coming?

Or did they agree to Horn’s request to preserve his year of eligibility on his way out?
 
I believe Henry is a senior.

That leaves without signing or transfer portaling in 1/2/3/even 4 kickers (not out or reach for this staff) next year our only kicker is a kid who walked on and started kicking for his high school team in 2019.

I will be shocked if there isn't at least 10 guys who portal out by the end of 2021. If it gets to 12, that means one in 7 kids will have jumped ship on JL in a single season.

Coach Pete says it takes 18-20 months for a new coach to put his stamp on the program and get it where he wants/needs it to be. We are currently in that sweet spot right now.
