He didn’t really pound it. He slipped it in once and then precisely placed it another and then angled it the 3rd. He scored 3x’s.

Everybody was bitching about the conditions, but when things are that wet (a good thing BTW), it's normal for Penix to slip around and not always connect. He just refocused, kept his eyes on the receiver, and during that final push deep up the middle, he came through at the end.

Do you think the wetness was the real cause of few of the intended receivers of Penix being able to hold on to his balls?

True story, I was literally thinking to myself today “@PurpleBaze hasn’t corrected my grammar/spelling in awhile.” It was like the universe was out of alignment.

Well, balance restored.

Possible. At first they had a really good rhythm going, and maybe Penix was getting tired, but the Beaver decided to take charge and were poised to climb on top toward the end.
