Texas gov is worried that the US will invade Texas

Wow. I'd include a link but I'm posting from my SGN3. But it is front page of the NYT.

This is as bad as the militia nuts that are constantly worried about the UN invading.

It's actually the governor of the state threatening to send the state guard to the 15 training exercises to take on the federal military.

It isn't neither. He has commanded the Texas Nat. G. to surveil the movement of US federal troops on training in Texas. That is serious nutjob behavior.

But how is Rick Perry a bad governor?

I know you are being sarcastic. But Rick Perry actually came out and said the current governor is FS.

"It's OK to question your government. But the military is something else. Our military is quite trustworthy. The civilian leadership, you can always question that, but not the men and women in uniform," Perry said, according to the newspaper.

Last week, Abbott sent a letter to Texas State Guard Major General Gerald "Jake" Betty, explaining that he was directing the Guard to monitor Operation Jade Helm 15 "to address concerns of Texas citizens and to ensure that Texas communities remain safe, secure and informed about military procedures occurring in their vicinity."

I wouldn't be surprised, at all, if the Major General of the Texas Guard -- decides to NOT do his utmost to carry out that order.

Clearly Rick Perry is not a fan of "Seven Days in May"
