The last 2 months, they play 4 at home, 4 on the road. Not exactly spending "most of final two months on the road." Stanford's tough games will be in the first 6 games of the year. Not a great schedule to break in a new QB

thus they have emphasized always having a road grader o-line and probably the best multi-purpose player in football to help a bit.
