The guy on the left looks like Newmans older brotherStan Lee was a complete pimp in the 70's.
It was kind of weird - back in the early 70's Marvel got their ass handed to them by DC. The Throbber's younger brother was deep into comic books and probably spent $5 DC to every $1 Marvel. The Throbber was more into the Classics Illlustrated comics but I'm an intellectual like that.
Not quite sure when but the pendulum swung and Marvel vaulted past DC and never looked back. DC got way too LGBTQXYZ and Marvel just kept putting out good shit.
