I remember shaking my head as one of my Uncles was comparing the accuracy of the press to the shoddy accuracy of the meteorologist. I was a liberal then and had complete faith in the msm. Then I worked for the Gov and had to work with people at the Oregonian and figured out real quick that the press was biased. That was 1984-85. I drove a van for the DNC prior to that election and watching democrat operatives cheat just solidified my decision to NOT be a democrat.
 
I knew the media was biased but confirmation was when the Seattle Post-Intelligencer had an op-ed in 2000 about Dubya being a racist and my brother wrote a factual counter about how Al Gore’s dad filibustered the Civil Roghts Act. He received a response from the editor saying they couldn’t publish it because it wasn’t in the “spirit” of the newspaper.

I look at people who believe any news source as unbiased to be intellectually inferior to me. I have family members who view Rachel Maddow as objective information.
