P-Funk is obviously great, but What's Going On? the album is at the pinnacle.
I feel like Marvin really only had one truly great LP and then a bunch of classic singles. Parliament had, at least, 2 or 3 great LPs that were all killer and no filler. IFL Marvin Gaye but the funkiness is just too much for me to say no to.
Poles close tonight. Looks like MG will hold on in this one.
