For me, Prince dominates every other artist on this side of the bracket- i.e., 1980's present. No one's even close. The dude was the complete package: brilliant guitar player, amazing performer AND her wrote all his songs.

Luther is the shit, obviously, but Prince is Prince.

This is my favorite Prince song. It's really similar to my favorite Sly song (Prince and the Revolution was basically a copy of Sly and the Family Stone). He's such a fucking genius.
