Am watching a documentary on HBO (ILTCI HBO, not Max) about Stax Records and the Memphis Sound.
Sam & Dave ripped off the black church for their moves and call/response performance style. Obama rode that schtick all the way to the Presidency. White people love that shit.

I saw Paul Rodgers in like 07 or 08 at the EQC and he brought Sam Moore on stage to sing with him. It was pretty cool
