Seriously, who the fuck cares if he's good with the media? Win and the boosters will donate regardless. My only actual question with him is whether or not he can recruit well. In the end it still comes down to winning. Win and the recruits will follow. That said, I wouldn't object to hiring a couple of more out-going assistants that could maybe relate to the kids a bit better. Get them in the program and I'm sure Petersen can coach them up.

I suspect he can recruit well enough. I think he does a better job than many coaches in developing the talent he has to work with.

Seeing there has been no indication of many of the other big names being considered, I would definitely choose Petersen over Nussmeier.

I want nussing to do with UW football if Woodward hires another intern.
