Shaq will have to play multiple series on offense

Whether Coleman and DW are out or questionable, it seems that Shaq will need to play in the backfield quite a bit. Who the fuck is the 4th tailback or originally the 5th as Callier is out?

As is, we will be relying on a guy who has had 3 ACL tears. Shaq will not only have to get 7+ carries but he'll have to play perhaps half the game on offense. Myles Jack had 35 carries over a 3 week period last season with 29 coming in two games. Maybe if we need 1 yard we can bring in Danny Shelton or Elijah Qualls to spell Shaq. (Like how UCLA does with Vanderdoes). Shelton loves running with the ball when he recovers fumbles.

Has Peterman said Sark was fucktarded for using K. Taylor as a RB ?

I would love for Shaq to get carries, but he's so important on defense. It's a tough sacrifice. I don't think it's smart to play him half the game on offense. Maybe he can handle it, but that is asking for a lot.

We'll see if Coleman and/or Washington play. I'm kind of looking forward to Cooper getting an extended look. I'm tired of Washington and to a lesser extent Coleman going down on first contact. Neither make anyone miss. They haven't had a run over 20 yards since Eastern. The 3 ACL injuries with Cooper aren't from contact, so I'm not sure why he couldn't handle getting 12+ carries.

Ross needs to get the ball more than twice on runs. Use him like DAT. Get him the ball 10-12 times. As a RB, on fly sweeps/reverses, and passes. The two times he ran the ball he had 12 and 32 yard gains. On the 12 yarder, he almost broke it. He's a special player and he's underutilized. Every week Smith and Petersen talk about getting him the ball more and while he's had a small increase, it's not enough. Some say he can't get the ball because Miles can't throw it, so hand it to him. Other say he can't handle the hits, but the risk is worth it because he is the only star on this offense. Just get him his fucking touches. Good things happen when he does.

I would also like to see some called QB runs, but for some reason we stopped calling those after the Illinois game. I don't get it. Kendyl Taylor should be getting some reps at RB this week in case he's needed.

Or squib kicks.

Alamo Bowl anyone?

Put lindquist in there, what the hell.

This. Lindquist may not be a decent QB at this level but he's bigger and probably faster than either of the running backs. Let him play HB or FB.

I'd like to see one play where Ross takes the snap in the wildcat

I would rather have Shaq show up on defense (outside of the first series) than carry the rock.

GET OFF MY LAWN too while you're at it.
