California is looking at an exit tax to be paid when you move out of state. Clearly unconstitutional. Just don't call Cali authoritarian. Newsome says Cali represents freedom, unlike Florida where you can't say gay and groom first graders. Now that's real freedom.

Same up in Washington state where the state Constitution stops the imposition of an income tax. Nonetheless, lots of proposals to impose one anyway. Constitutions are for the small minded.
