He's gonna be the tell on the direction this
program is going isn't he? Get him and maybe
it's a sign that headway is being made on Oregon
and Stanford. Lose him to someone like Stanford
and we will be battling California for third place in
the North every year.
 
I've talked with someone who knows him. Education is #1, #2, and #3 on the priority list for him and his mom. I didn't get the feeling that he's a sports fan, just a really smart kid who happens to be really good at sports. I think Petersen has a shot based on the built for life, okg stuff but it sounds like the minute Stanford offered, he became theirs to lose.

And no...losing one lineman to Stanford doesn't condemn us to a lifetime of mediocrity, just like getting him does not guarantee we will ever compete with Oregon or Stanford again (see Shaq Thompson)

Seriously. I will help pack Pete's bag for his trip back to the WAC if we lose this kid. I don't care how many coffee cups it takes.

If he goes to Stanford then our boosters should offer our DL a bounty on knocking him on his ass. If I was a big swinging dick booster that is what I'd do. And also supply roids to our lineman in the offseason.
 
If I were a lineman I'd go to Stanford too. We suck. Until we win games or our boosters take notes on how to sign recruits like ole miss a portion of,these dudes are leaving. There is no such thing as an adolescent husky fan in this state these days.

It's well known parents of recruits reed this bored and are turned off by course language and hot scantily clad tatted women. When Sark was here, he lost out on several 5* recruits because of this.
