I agree with this when it comes to the NFL, especially for an early road game. The win is a win stuff is bullshit when it is Kim saying it after the Eastern game in 2011, or the Cal and Colorado games last year.

 
Some people expect Carolina to be pretty good this year. Their Defensive front 7 is nasty and stopped the run game and didn't let Wilson scramble around like he likes to do.

Wasn't pretty but the defense Pete has built won us the game.

What is KILLING the Seahawks is penalties we had like 9 today.

Agree with that. I think 10 a.m. road games has plagued this franchise since their birth so I'll take this win.

Now if UW barely beats let's say Idaho State I won't be saying " a win is a win".

We know it's a different team at home than on the road. All I care about is getting W's on the road, no matter how ugly they are.

HFA is the key to the season. They took a step in that direction today. I'm not thrilled, but I'm happy.

Yea I don't see them losing a home playoff game so if they can go 5-3 or maybe 4-4 on the road with going 8-0 at home that should be put them in a good spot.

Carolina is a pretty good team they just can't close worth a shit. Newton/Rivera are now 2-13 in games decided by 7 points or less.

Carolina is a good team, but Ron Rivera is a shitty coach. He had a 4th and about 2 inches at close to the 50 that he punted in the second half. I know a lot of coaches would make the same call, but with Cam Newton there is no way he won't get two inches.
 
Offensive line looked like shit until the Black Panthers started playing soft prevent. Lynch didn't do s*** for the most part. A win is a win blah blah blah blah blah... didn't look like a Superbowl caliber team... but they can probably skate by with 4-4 on the road.
