They need to blow it all up. Pete, Russ, Schneider (ESPECIALLY Schneider). It was a great/fun run but it will be stuck in the realm of mediocrity to BAD if they keep trying to hold a window open that has been closed for years.
If you're going to trade Wilson, don't just settle for Daniel Jones or some unknown rookie. It's stupid. It's not clear he's washed up at this point. He might have five or six good years left.
It's not working. It's time to clean house. Don't fire Pete yet, but if he wants to take some cushy front office job for a two years until retirement, don't stop that impulse either. It's time to rebuild though.
I just don't see this team being able to win the division next year with SF, Arizona, and LA all being younger and more complete teams than the Seahawks. Wilson took some sacks this year that a younger Wilson would have escaped.
A part of me thinks they should do a hard reset and let long-time vets like RW and Wagner have one last chance to make it back to the SB via trade.
Starting OTs Duane Brown (turns 37 right before the 2022 season starts) and Brandon Shell are FAs. Al Woods will be 35 and a FA. Chris Carson gets hurt too much and Penny will be a FA.

Bingo.
This team has the worst long term outlook in the division currently. For as much shit as Pete and Russ get, Schneider is the core of the problem. He has made so many shit moves since the Super Bowl era that have depleted this roster, and this isn't an overnight fix. He has been putting Band-Aids on a festering wound for years now. Russ needs to be traded for some capital. As bad as he has been this year, he still has a lot of value and some team with a young talented roster that can handle his contract would gladly pay a decent price for win it now scenario. I think Russ can still be decent somewhere but it won't be here. This offensive line isn't going to magically change overnight with 1 or 2 free agent signings and a 5th round OL pick. Let him go somewhere to end his career where winning is still an option while the big rebuild process starts in Seattle. Otherwise it is going to be a long time before the Seahawks are relevant again.
