Started listening to Patrick Ben David’s pod with a guy named Neil Howe. Said we are right in the middle of global conflict phase that should last until the early 2030s. Pretty interesting listen.

I've always thought the Taiwan invasion threat is just leverage in their relationship with the US. But if it did happen it's now or not until January 2029 at the earliest.

Everything I've read say that it would have to happen in March or August weather wise.

It's more of a window. March/April Sept/Oct depending upon the monsoons.
The uncertainty only compounds the complexity for the CCP though. Don't want to repeat the invasion of Japan.
