Roger GoodellFS

I thought Dan Patrick had a good point this morning - how did anyone think she ended up unconscious before they say the video? Did you need to see it to get outraged?

Now the Ravens cut his ass after standing by him. What changed?

Exactly. Nothing changed... But now that an actual video is out the Ravens/NFL decide to drop da hamma! Just makes them look foolish from the get go.

There was a plausible benefit of the doubt around her hitting him first type of thing before this video.

Having said that, what the Ravens and Goodell did in investigating this mess in the first place was still deplorable and Goodell should be set on fire on the 50 yard line.

Do you think that even if the elevator video showed her hitting him first it would have mattered? She came at him and he knocked her out. Even if she got a punch off I don't think 2014 America goes for it

We saw him drag her out of the elevator unconscious. She didn't knock herself out. If the Ravens defended him they should still defend him

tl,dr

I agree with you.

I'm just explaining the #RavensFuckingStupid actions here.

I deeply regret the role Janay Rice's limp, lifeless body played in this situation. A black eye for her.

So now Ray Ray comes home from work after losing his job................

this may not end well

I figured it was more like a mafia leather ball to back of the noodle

Outrage of the day. What a bunch of shit. Race is right. They knew he knocked her out, how did they figure it happened other than he clocked her?

Here's the NFL thinking

1. Learn a star player knocked out his girlfriend
2. Take some minimal action and move on
3. Take shit for not doing enough
4. Realize there are a lot of female fans who are pissed so apologize and say next time you will drop the hammer
5. Video of the hit comes out and people are outraged again
6. Seize the opportunity to get FREE PUB! And drop the hammer even though nothing really changed
7.?
8. Profit.

Now we need a "national conversation" on domestic violence. Have you noticed that every national conversation we've needed to have lately isn't really a conversation but a bitch fest about how shitty males are and how they are to blame for everything?

Did we ever #bringbackourgirls?
