Rock is Dead...

It's been ded since 1994 basically. There's been some great bands and albums since. But the early 90's were truly the last great era in rock.

I was listening to Greta Van Fleet's album in the car this morning. Not dead, but on life support. Nice to see that at least a few kids are creating music like that

I pull for a lot of the young bands, but they are too few and far between.

I suppose if you're listening to FM radio it might seem that way but there are a lot of good ones out there, even more if you like metal. Don't let the Grammy's be your guide. Jethro Tull did beat Metallica for the first metal award, after all.

I use a few different review sites to find new music, but Pitchfork isn't really one of them since they basically hate metal. I thought it was just a funny review

They did a similar one for Tool's Lateralus

I don't hate them as much as this guy does, but I do think they're a bit overhyped for a LZ cover band.

Getting compared to Zeppelin means you must be doing something right. And the lead singer's voice aside, they sound more like 70s Rush than anything.
