They have had cancer for years but now appear to be ready to have the plug pulled. My favorite quote here is Ruhle saying they have become a showcase for other teams to recruit their players. As a olden who remembers the Varsity Alumni game at venerable Husky Stadium fondly it is kind of sad but understandable

I don’t see any upside to a spring game for the program. I get Alabama when they fill their stadium for fan engagement but we all know it’s a cash grab.
