Riddle me this regarding Richard Sherman

The way that he dramatically cradled his elbow in the second half like he was in tremendous pain and limited to one-armed tackling... Could that have been an act geared toward baiting Rodgers into throwing the ball in his direction?

It crossed my mind, too, and he may have exaggerated it a bit in an attempt to get Rodgers attention.

OTOH, no way he's only tackling Nelson with one arm if he had two good ones. He was legitimately in a lot of pain. Very gutsy performance.

Could be, but did you see the hit he took from BamBamKam?

Ouch.

Sherms one arm tackle was a thing of beauty. Our guys tackle better with one arm than most healthy teams. Never thought id appreciate something as small as a good form tackle.

Still like Earls full speed hit after separating his shoulder. I remember Chris Webber passing out when he popped his. He may be a huge pussy though, but still can't feel great to hit with one.

My friend separated his shoulder playing fball in 8th grade and missed the rest of the season fwiw. He was kind of an annoying pussy though.

My rugby career ended on a blown shoulder. The thing Earl needs to worry about is inflammation affecting his range of motion. Also, once shoulders pop-out they continue to do with greater ease each time, so i wouldn't be shocked to see him go down again in the SB.

This will probably affect next season more than this game.

So much THIS

The initial pain is pretty bad, but once it's popped back in, not quite as much.

But hitting a guy like Lacy full speed minutes after separating it? That takes some serious grit.

Can't speak to the elbow injury, but it looked worse on TV.

Thomas and Sherman are warriors.
