Kool Moe Dee is yet another rapper from the northeast, though he breaks it up a bit by representing Trenton. Originally part of the Treacherous Three, Dee is another rap OG. He ended up beefing hard with LL for a long time because he felt LL didn't respect the old heads enough. Dee pioneered the New Jack Swing sound with Teddy Riley (later of Blackstreet). A real genius, Dee rents studio time by the hour and has filed for bankruptcy three times because he's often late.
