Question for Puget Sound HS Basketball TBS Peeps

What happened to Franklin? They won like five state titles going back to the Jason Terry days and were still elite when Siva and pimp Overton were there 5-10 years ago or whenever that was. I know their old coach ended up at O'Gay. :-q

I'm really suspicious of the preppy schools (Lakeside and Prep). I know Prep has been good for a while but I'm sure they throw money at kids, blick or white.

Due to open enrollment, Seattle high school basketball has essentially become AAU. Kids will all gravitate to whatever team is popular, or whoever has the best perks.

The new coach is former Roosevelt star and long time assistant to Kerr. He hasn't convinced Brooks or Terry to move kids from Tacoma or Federal Way into the Rainier Valley I guess. Franklin went to districts this year, it was just a super competitive Metro.
