Are you referring to the targeted ads above and below the thread? I think those are unique to the individual, based on your search history. For example, I see ads for autoerotic asphyxiation support groups and clown/party supplies. The clown stuff is for work, though.
 
I have no problem with ads in lieu of paying a fee, bit the ones that are targeted to us seem kind of scary and I have no interest in clicking on them.

the algorithms for these things are about as logical as Sark's 10th bubble screen call...in the first quarter.
 
I see an ad for a repossession company... I take that as foreshadowing that somebody is due to rip me off.

I also see two ads for 400***BAD***400 which I'm guessing might be an ad for a new film, that is a cross between the greek odyssey 300, and boyz in the hood.

I clicked on the Roof FakeDAwg thread, and got six ads with the word "roof" in them. Now the wrinkle cream at is back.
