I know someone who moved out of Portland recently. Their formally nice neighborhood near the University of Portland had become infested with street zombies. Whenever they had meetings with the city to try and create a solution, the "homeless advocates" would show up at the meetings and try to shame the homeowners. Nothing was done because the city was afraid of the "advocates" and not one of them lived in the area.

You have to be legally retarded to live in Portsmouth or St John's over moving north of the river at this point.

Even with the homeless gun violence shit my coworkers have told me about who live there, they still swear that they don't need to own their own guns and that just a driveway security camera is all that is needed. Plus a rescue dog of course. Those things will deter a meth'd out home invader I'm sure.

That city is beyond fucked.
