Polk

With Ricky Pearsall being taken in the first round Polk is set up to be another in a long line of husky players selected early in the second who will outperform first rounders in the same position.

Underrated top play of the season. Pretty sure I screamed some form of "LFG THAT'S A TONE SETTER BABY!" right out of the gates. DJ walking in untouched on the next play made the whole sequence even sweeter. It was on at that point. I said the same thing in 2016 versus Alabama. Whatever. Good times.

This dude came to UW to play for Lake AND Donovan. It wasn’t a bait and switch like Odunze, JMac and Puka. It boggles my mind that he came here.

We don't make the national championship without Donovan's recruiting chops, bless his Holy name.

Why was Oregon favored to beat us over and over again?
Why was Michigan favored to beat us? is my question.
Might have helped if half our starters and all our backups weren’t mediocre to poor. Never seen a team with so much elite talent but then such a drop off there weren’t many players that were just good and reliable like a Westover or Bruener. It also helped UW that all their elite players were at the most important positions (QB, WR, OT, edge, CB1)

This is as close as UW got since 91 and actually had a legit shot had things gone their way. It shows that talent really does matter. Not fan duel oregon recruting honks talent but NFL talent. And a coach who can use it which DeBoer was
That is the game that Fisch is talking. Just need to get walking

Ducks are taking a heavy dose of "Junior Adams recruited all those guys" copium on their bored with a side of "the huskies had a once in a century group of returning players that they will never have again"
