The Cure is fairly outside of my wheelhouse. Tried to listen to a few cuts on the LP on Spotify and didn't catch my ear. But this is just one man's opinion.
I loved it in my late teens/early twenties

In my formative years, Cure was synonymous with fag. I’m came around a later on and really dug it. I saw them 15 years ago, amazing show.
it was considered way out there. Now it's almost mainstream
Fascination Street is the shit. Different album. Why Can't I Be You, Lovesong, Friday I'm in Love, Just Like Heaven, tons of good tunes. Horribly underrated in the pantheon of 80's bands.
