Just saw two of our kids got AAB invites. Do they send those offers out all on one day?
 
Not a smart TBSer, but I'm guessing maybe they sent all the Oregon offers out yesterday since it was Draco and Trey? Could be coincidence.
 
I really know jack shit here, but don't they offer like 300 kids or something, but then only select like 100 for the game (numbers made up)? I guess I am saying they have some bigger list that gets whittled down to who will actually play? And when are all the invites done, etc.

If anyone understands the process please explain. If not, fuck off. TIA.

They do it in waves, a lot of elite guys already accepted months ago.

First they get nominated (that’s probably around 900-1000) and then you are selected (probably around 150) and commit to play in it or not.
 
Its like making the Dick Buttkus watch list. Every linebacker in America starts out on it
 
One more thing on Army All-Americans is I believe that the formal offer is extended in-person ... which helps to explain 2 Oregon invites on the same day
 
To be clear, both Bynum and Lowe are going to play in the game, as they accepted the offer. In the next few weeks they will have their jersey ceremony and all that shit.

Jacob Sirmon is playing in the Under Armor game. I would expect both Spiker and Osbourne will be selected to one of those two games, if not it is a crime. I could see Mele getting selected to one of the games too. Devin Culp has a shot and certainly Yankoff as well.
