I’be heard F3 owns a significant piece of Dawgman. My guess is Kim encourages to stay that way, hoping he’ll keel over soon allowing Kim to get F3’s stake in the business.

ATBS, if I’m UW, I’m encouraging F3 to stay away from the football team.
 
Again I just think back to how a dead program like UCLA gets David Woods and we get a couple guys that seem like they don't give a single corpuscle of a fuck about UW football beyond what it does for them.
When Woods has gone off on their podcast about how UW would be the school he would go to if he hadn't gone to UCLA, how Washington winning the last ever Pac 12 title felt "right", and how he loves our whole setup so much with our stadium and stuff it's like…..fuck….
 
Well there's two kinds of college football media and they're both not in good places right now.
  1. you have traditional media beat writer type. It used to be that you could probably have a decent middle class life doing it, kind of be a minor person of note in a way and get to work on some cool long-term journalistic stories. Now it's about just constantly putting shit on Twitter and hyping stuff so you're stuck doing puff pieces and sucking up for access so all you have there now are guys trying to hang on and scratch out a living doing puff pieces on guys like Lanning (did you know he drove to Pittsburgh…) and hyping up certain programs and guys who are trying to be influencers doing podcasts I don't know if anyone actually listens to, hyping up Lanning (did you know he has a family).
  2. Then you have the homer Scout.com type guys who just cover one team and aren't really media. They're going to suck because it's not even a real job and you can barely even make healthy side hustle money doing it, even at the bluest of blue bloods so it's mostly going to be losers.
