Daniels was commented to Utah. Parents divorced, dad and Jaylen fully on board the Ute train. Mom wanted UCLA. Mom obviously lost. Mom publicly stated Salt Lake was no place for her precious black son, our program lacked diversity as did the city surrounding it. He would never be welcomed or accepted by the community. Pretty much a few words shy of stating she would not see her son swinging from a tree in Salt Lake. Full on race card. She subsequently pimped him to ASU and got her way. Apparently ASU was the comprise.
As far as Jayden, he attempted to perpetuate the same myth during the recruitment of Jordan Wilmore while he was his host when Wilmore visited ASU.
Wilmore was a 4* RB who signed with us, played to seasons then transferred to Freso when Ty Jordan staked his claim as Utah RB for the next few years.
