Terry Wilson... Of the Russell Wilson's?
http://oregon.247sports.com/Board/45/Contents/Semper-Fi-Bowl-Coach-Raves-About-Wilson-42570707Oregon clearly needs quarterback depth to have a sustainable future. And not just the one-year transfer variety.
Help might in fact be on the way however with Del City (Okla.) three-star Terry Wilson headed for Eugene this March. The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder will be on campus in time to start Spring ball with the Ducks.
This past weekend Wilson played in the Semper Fidelis All-American game, representing the West. He was named the starter and team captain after a week of practices.
One of the West coaches reached out to DuckTerritory to convey just how impressed he was with Wilson. Jason Mohns, who is the head coach at powerhouse Saguaro in Arizona, was the quarterbacks coach for the West.
His impressions of Wilson after working with him all week might just give you chills.
"Terry Wilson is a baller," Mohns started. "I enjoyed my opportunity to work with Wilson this past week in Los Angeles for the Semper Fi game. I came away very impressed with him not only as a player, but even more so as a person. He was named our starter for the game and our team captain."
"He is also a talented young man with football intelligence and leadership skills. He picked up all of the concepts quickly and showed the ability to get through his progressions and make all of the throws from the pocket."
"But what really makes him special is his athleticism and his ability to keep plays alive with his feet. He's also a huge threat in the run game which opens up the offense. He needs to develop a little more confidence in his ability to 'throw receivers open' as he was hesitant at times waiting for them to get open. He'll learn that in time and has some real tools to be a future star at Oregon."
Mohns has coached some recent greats including Christian Kirk, DJ. Foster and his quarterback Kare' Lyles is currently committed to Wisconsin.
Saguaro is a three-time state champion in Division III in Arizona under Mohns in four years. He's also been named Division III coach of the year in 2013 and 2014 in Arizona.

He's good enough to back up Prukop next fall, and he's enrolling early, so he doesn't have to pass maff.
Good enuff
Throwing a receiver open is not something easily learned. It's called anticipation, and dudes have it or don't.
Can't wait to see him hold on to the ball too long and have Gaines rip him apart until duck shit gets all over the pocket.

This discussion is over. You're officially lumped into the D2D and Hondo category of idiotic posters.
