I feel like I'm part of the last single income family on earth. Obviously I'm not, but my brothers in law who chose to move to Queen Anne/Wallingford both work 24/7 with their wives and have to have "perfectly good reasons not to be active" anywhere let alone here.

There's a special joy in life to show up buzzed and you don't have to give a reason why and then get blown while the kids are playing Legos or watching Blippi. It's the fabric of what this country was built on. TITTT but still.

Having been one of those people that sometimes drop off the radar, I get it. My last sabbatical was due to a cross state move and dealing with family stuff.

I’m sure the day will come when I don’t come back for whatever reason.

In any case, I didn’t mean to pry into anyone’s life or make this thread a wellness check, just genuinely wanted to say I missed his presence on the board, as I do many others.

Time (and Tim) marches on.
