In defense of beach and the doogs, they were all in on NGW. It was Gershon and crew who knocked him. Beach liked NGW more than Lavine.

Lavine was 5 star shooting guard, which makes me even more pissed Romar didn't recruit him. NWG and Lavine with Softy posting would be good for 8-9 wins in the PAC 12. Beach criticized NWG's ceiling just as much as Gerson. Both questioned his outside shot and his athletic ability which was light years ahead of Gaddy.

Point being, star rating from scout are about as useful as meaderings
